Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Print Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating digital printing equipment, preparing and finishing print jobs, and ensuring high-quality output for our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your technical skills and hands-on approach can make a real impact.
Main Job Responsibilities
- The role involves producing printed customer work, both small and large format, from supplied files with an emphasis on providing excellent quality and a helpful and friendly service.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure accuracy and consistency
- The job also incorporates finishing of the jobs (ie trimming, binding, mounting etc) and other print related duties as required.
- Some artwork experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Skills required
- The successful applicant is required to have at minimum a working basic knowledge of Adobe Creative suite(InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat etc.) along with other industry standard packages and some experience of working in the print industry.
- A good understanding and experience in handling customers and good communication skills.
- Being able to work in a small team and be flexible to take on other tasks as required.
- Driving license for occasional deliveries in company van.
Salary
- £27-28K depending on experience.
