Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist passengers with boarding, alighting, and navigating transportation facilities
- Provide support for individuals with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting and wheelchair assistance
- Ensure passenger safety by monitoring behavior and managing conduct during transit
- Support passengers requiring special care such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, or hospice needs
- Prepare and serve meals or snacks when necessary, adhering to dietary requirements
- Administer basic first aid in case of minor injuries or health concerns
- Drive vehicles responsibly while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws
- Maintain clear communication with team members and report any incidents or concerns promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or senior care is highly desirable
- Background in patient care, caregiving, or home care services is beneficial
- Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s care, hospice support, or behavior management enhances effectiveness in this role
- Experience with medication administration and first aid certification is preferred
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physical tasks safely
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring attitude towards diverse passenger needs
- Valid driving license with a clean record is required
