Overview
Padel Nuestro Manchester is looking for a friendly, reliable and proactive Shop Assistant to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sport, retail, customer service and social media. The role will involve helping customers in-store, supporting day-to-day shop operations, preparing orders and deliveries, and helping create and post content for Instagram, TikTok and other social media channels.
Knowledge of padel is helpful, but not essential. The right attitude, confidence with people and willingness to learn are more important.
Duties
- Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service
- Help customers choose rackets, shoes, clothing and accessories
- Learn about padel products and give helpful recommendations
- Process sales through the till accurately
- Keep the shop clean, organised and well-stocked
- Replenish stock and help manage product displays
- Help prepare online orders, collections and deliveries
- Arrange outgoing deliveries and make sure orders are packed correctly
- Support with stock checks and deliveries from suppliers
- Use Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms to support the store
- Help create and post simple social media content, including product videos, shop updates and promotions
- Upsell relevant products in a helpful and natural way
- Support the wider team with general day-to-day shop tasks
Requirements
- Friendly, confident and comfortable speaking to customers
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented
- Comfortable using social media, especially Instagram and TikTok
- Organised and able to manage small tasks independently
- Good attention to detail when packing orders and handling deliveries
- Interest in sport, padel, tennis, fitness or retail
- Willing to learn about padel products and equipment
- Able to work weekends when required
Retail experience is preferred, but not essential. Social media confidence is a strong advantage.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
