Are you looking to begin a rewarding career in engineering and manufacturing? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Quality Engineer to join our Quality team.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a four-year Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician (Level 3) apprenticeship programme. You will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to become a competent Quality Engineer working alongside experienced professionals in a modern manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will learn how to:
- Support the inspection and verification of products to ensure they meet customer and company quality standards.
- Use a range of measuring equipment and quality inspection techniques.
- Assist with investigating quality issues and identifying root causes.
- Record, analyse and report quality data.
- Support continuous improvement activities across the manufacturing process.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and quality documentation.
- Work safely and follow company quality management systems and procedures.
- Collaborate with production, engineering and other departments to help maintain high-quality standards.
As your skills develop, you will take on increasing responsibility and become an integral member of the Quality team.
What We're Looking For

- Organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Committed to completing a four-year apprenticeship programme.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should have (or be predicted to achieve):
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, Mathematics and Science at Grade 4/C or above (or the apprenticeship provider's entry requirements).
- A genuine interest in engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance.
