We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, and supporting daily activities.
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering to established protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and ensure their comfort and safety at all times.
- Assist with clinical procedures such as wound dressing, injections, and other treatments as required.
- Ensure infection control standards are rigorously followed throughout all aspects of patient care.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification recognised by the relevant professional body within the UK.
- Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or clinical setting is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Proficiency in medication administration, including understanding potential side effects and contraindications.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to support patients and liaise with colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, or public holidays if required.
