Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces throughout shifts.
- Handle guest queries promptly and courteously, resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen operations is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for processing bills accurately and handling cash transactions.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques or previous kitchen experience is a plus.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance.

This is a part time role with shifts being mainly evenings and weekend.
