Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser
Earnings: OTE up to £150,000+
Location: Fully Remote (UK-wide)
About the Company and Role:
Our client is a growing, directly authorised mortgage and protection brokerage operating across the whole of market, with access to a broad range of lenders and insurers. The business specialises in residential and investment property finance, supporting a diverse client base that includes homeowners, landlords, portfolio investors, and property developers. Services span residential mortgages, buy-to-let lending, bridging and commercial finance, protection insurance, and specialist lending solutions.
The company has developed a strong reputation for handling complex cases, particularly within the property investor and self-employed sectors, combining specialist market knowledge with a highly client-focused approach. Alongside its advisory services, the business has invested heavily in technology, including its own in-house CRM system and a bespoke software platform designed to help landlords manage and grow their property portfolios efficiently.
As part of an ambitious expansion strategy, the organisation is also in the process of acquiring a second business operating within the self-employed adviser space. This fully remote network currently supports more than 20 advisers and will provide flexible opportunities for advisers seeking either the backing of an established brand with lead support, or the freedom to operate independently within a network structure.
With continued investment in technology, adviser support, and strategic growth, the business is positioning itself as a modern, forward-thinking player within the specialist property finance sector.

Working Arrangements:
- Self-employed advisers have flexibility in their working hours

Desired Experience:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, driven, and client-focused, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Minimum 18 months’ experience as a mortgage adviser
- CAS – Competent Adviser Status
- Fully CeMAP qualified or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proactive, organised, and commercially aware
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Advise clients on mortgages and protection products
- Manage cases from enquiry through to completion
- Work with company-provided and self-generated leads
- Liaise with lenders, insurers, and clients to ensure smooth case progression
- Ensure all advice is compliant with FCA regulations
- Keep up to date with mortgage products, regulations, and market trends
- Maintain strong client and introducer relationships
