We are looking for a Legal Secretary to join our Commercial, Procurement & Public Law team in Bristol, providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to lawyers across the practice.

As a Legal Secretary, you'll provide comprehensive support to lawyers and work closely with colleagues across the wider business to ensure work is delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing inboxes, emails and correspondence on behalf of lawyers where required
- Preparing, formatting and distributing documents and communications to a high standard
- Supporting the organisation and management of case and matter files
- Arranging meetings, coordinating diaries and organising travel arrangements
- Assisting with client communications and ensuring adherence to client-specific processes and requirements
- Producing presentations, marketing materials and other business documentation
- Maintaining accurate client contact information and document records
- Supporting lawyers with billing administration, matter management and financial reporting tasks
- Processing expenses and assisting with finance-related queries
- Managing confidential information in accordance with firm policies and data security requirements
- Working collaboratively with legal and business support teams to deliver an excellent internal and external client experience
We're interested in individuals who can demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a strong commitment to client service.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in a legal, professional services or similar client-focused environment
- Previous secretarial, administrative or executive support experience
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approach
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint
- Confidence learning and using new systems and technology
- A highly organised and methodical approach to work
- A proactive mindset and willingness to support colleagues where needed
- A professional, confidential and discreet approach when handling sensitive information
Experience with document management or case management systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
