Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Multi Trader specialising in Voids Repairs to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repair and refurbishment services across multiple trades, ensuring that vacant properties are restored efficiently and to a high standard. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will help maintain the integrity of our properties, enhance resident satisfaction, and support smooth property turnover processes. Duties
- Perform comprehensive repairs and refurbishments in vacant properties, covering various trades including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting and decorating, tiling, and basic remedial works.
- Conduct detailed assessments of void units to identify defects and plan appropriate interventions to required standards.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks.
- Fabricate or modify materials as needed to meet specific repair requirements or project specifications.
- Coordinate with property managers and contractors to ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure all properties are left clean, safe, and ready for occupation.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multi-trade roles with a focus on void repairs or property refurbishment.
- Strong skills in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical work.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for various repair tasks.
- Ability to fabricate or modify materials using welding or other fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to construction and maintenance environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach.
- Full UK driving licence with vehicle preferred
- Valid certifications or licenses related to trades such as electrical qualifications or roofing certifications are desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
