About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning and development through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Working as part of our dedicated team, you will help create engaging, open-ended learning experiences both indoors and outdoors, ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and inspired.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as a key person for a group of children.
- Building positive relationships with children and their families.
- Planning and providing enriching, child-led learning experiences.
- Observing, assessing, and supporting children's development.
- Creating stimulating environments that reflect children's interests and individual needs.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding care and education.
What We're Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates who are:
- Qualified to a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional early years education and care.
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible.
- Confident working as part of a close-knit team.
- Knowledgeable about the EYFS (experience desirable).
- Experienced as a key person (beneficial but not essential).
An interest in outdoor learning, Forest School, The Curiosity Approach, and Planning in the Moment would be advantageous, although full training and support will be provided.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position of 30 hours per week.
The nursery is open Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 6:15pm, with shifts worked on a rota basis. Additional overtime may be available.
