Duties
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sandwich station, adhering to strict food safety guidelines at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock levels are low.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders accurately and upselling additional menu items to enhance their experience.
- Follow proper food handling procedures, including sanitation practices and temperature controls, to ensure health standards are upheld.
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Support the team in opening or closing duties as needed, including cleaning and restocking workstations.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills are essential for accurately measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions if applicable.
- Experience in serving customers or working directly with guests will help you excel in this role.
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills are necessary to prioritize tasks during peak hours and ensure timely service.
- A proactive attitude toward upselling menu items can boost sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
