We're building AI infra for finance that teams can trust. .
99% of AI-first finance tools either skip human judgment entirely or require so much manual review that they slow you down . We're building at the intersection. AI does what AI is good at - pattern matching, speed, scale. Humans (specifically, CPAs) do what humans are good at - judgment, context, risk detection.
We're starting with accounting automation, but the thesis is bigger: How do you give finance professionals AI tools that actually allow them to do more?
Who we're looking for:
You're hungry and want to redefine how accounting/finance operates at its core, interested in AI and finance tech, probably restless at a traditional firm. You understand not just the rules but the why behind them. You want to build, not just execute.
Hard requirements
- Qualified or within 12 months of qualifying as a CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS, CA, or equivalent recognised accounting professional.
- At least 3 years of professional accounting or finance experience.
- Hands-on experience with month-end close, bank reconciliations, general ledger review and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP, or both, with the ability to identify when local expertise is required.
- Experience using at least one major accounting platform, such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage or NetSuite.
- Comfortable working directly with UK and US clients, investigating unclear transactions and defending accounting judgements.
- Able to work with some UK–US time-zone overlap when client work requires it.
- Genuine interest in AI and accounting automation; previous AI experience is not required.
- Comfortable working in an early-stage company where priorities and product decisions change quickly.
- Right to work in the UK.

What you'll be doing:
You'll partner with one of our founding AI engineers and deploy into our client's companies to lead the AI transformation for their finance department. You own the logic, interview team members, diagnose their bottlenecks and reimagine how their finance function should be built alongside our AI engineers.

We will review your application and if happy, we will then share a case study task, then an interview where you will meet the team, then a paid work trial. .
Pay: £160,000.00-£250,000.00 per year
