Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated & reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team in Faringdon, Oxfordshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your attention to detail will ensure that our facilities remain clean, welcoming, and safe for staff, clients, and visitors alike.
Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is essential, however full in house training will be provided.
The successful applicant with be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, and common spaces, following established protocols.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure hygienic and presentable environments.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures according to specified standards.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required by management.
Experience
- A minimum of 1 years previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is essential.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service consistently
- Good physical stamina is required with the ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions accurately.
Work Schedule
- Monday- Friday
- 2.4 Hours Per day
- 39 weeks per year (Term Time Only)

- Must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate before employment commences.
