About the Role We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our busy in-house team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality interior and exterior finishes for our residential and commercial clients across the Hull and East Riding region. - Surface Preparation: Thoroughly prepare surfaces by sanding, filling cracks, cleaning, and applying primers to ensure an optimal finish.
- Painting & Decorating: Apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Confidently hang wallpaper when required.
- Colour Matching: Mix and match paints accurately to achieve client specifications and project requirements.
- Site Maintenance: Keep all work areas clean, tidy, and safe during and after the completion of projects.
- Time Management: Manage your time effectively to ensure jobs are completed on schedule and to a 5-star standard.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience (minimum [Insert #] years) as a professional painter and decorator.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, and wallpapering.
- Valid UK Driving Licence and own transport (preferred, but not strictly essential).
- Valid CSCS Card (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
