Overview
HOURS: 10am - 2pm … We are seeking a motivated Junior Administrator to join our dynamic team with the opportunity for progression. Candidate must be able to drive or commute to office in Rayleigh. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop administrative skills within a professional environment. The successful candidate will support various office functions, ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to organisational efficiency. Prior office experience is advantageous but not necessary but a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document management
- Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
- Support scheduling and calendar management for team members
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Excel
- Maintain organised records and ensure information accuracy in systems
- Support team members with ad hoc administrative duties as required
- Contribute to maintaining a tidy and efficient office environment
Skills
- Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred
- computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good data entry skills with attention to detail
- Professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills
- Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team player
- Basic clerical experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
