Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive spectator safety courses to diverse groups, ensuring clear understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Assess learners’ progress through practical demonstrations and theoretical assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development
- Conduct internal quality assurance (IQA) activities to monitor and evaluate the delivery of training sessions, maintaining compliance with industry standards
- Develop and update course materials, ensuring content remains current, relevant, and engaging for learners
- Maintain accurate records of training attendance, assessments, and IQA activities in line with organizational policies
- Communicate effectively with learners, colleagues, and stakeholders to promote a positive learning environment
- Stay informed about industry regulations, best practices, and new developments related to spectator safety
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivering training or teaching within the spectator safety or event management sector
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage audiences of varying backgrounds and experience levels
- Knowledge of relevant safety legislation, industry standards, and best practices in spectator management
- IT proficiency for managing digital records, course materials, and assessments
- Excellent organizational skills to coordinate training schedules and maintain detailed documentation
- Fluency in English is essential for clear instruction and assessment purposes
- Additional skills such as plumbing or technical trades are advantageous but not mandatory; a background in teaching or mentoring is highly valued
