About the Role
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Housing & Property Management Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new recruit or an existing employee to gain a formal qualification while working in a practical environment. You will develop extensive knowledge of the housing/property sector, achieve a Level 3 Apprenticeship, and have the opportunity to gain professional recognition through PropertyMark and membership with The Property Institute (TPI) .
This programme is open to candidates of all ages, including school leavers, career changers, and even graduates looking to upskill via the apprenticeship route.
Key Responsibilities
As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced property professionals and be expected to assist with:
- Property Management: Supporting the day-to-day management of residential properties, including handling repairs, maintenance requests, and health & safety checks.
- Tenant & Landlord Liaison: Acting as a first point of contact for queries, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Compliance: Assisting with legal and regulatory compliance, including gas safety certificates, EPCs, and right-to-rent checks.
- Viewings & Inspections: Accompanying tenants on viewings, conducting property inspections, and preparing inventory reports.
- Administration: Maintaining accurate records on property management systems, processing tenancy agreements, and managing deposit paperwork.
- Housing Management: Where applicable, supporting allocations, tenancy sustainment, or anti-social behaviour (ASB) casework.

Person Specification (Essential)
- Motivation: A genuine interest in property and housing.
- Communication: Good verbal and written English skills (GCSE grade 4/C or above in Maths & English preferred, or willingness to work towards functional skills).
- Organisation: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload.
- IT Skills: Confident using emails, Word, and Excel (experience with property software is a plus but not essential).
- Attitude: Reliable, professional, and eager to learn.
