Ashcombe Estate Agents & Lettings is looking for an experienced, motivated estate agent to join our growing team on a self-employed basis. We think there is a gap between traditional employed estate agency and the self-employed models currently available. You might already be an experienced estate agent who knows you can achieve more. You want greater control over your income, your time and your future — but the thought of moving to a model such as eXp, where you may need to build your own client base from day one while also covering monthly costs, has stopped you from making the jump. Ashcombe could be the middle ground you're looking for.
You'll operate as a self-employed agent under the established Ashcombe brand, with the opportunity to earn significantly more from the business you generate. And importantly, there are no monthly fees. We don't charge our agents monthly fees for CRM software, property portals or the other systems you need to do your job. We want our agents focused on listing and selling property — not worrying about whether they've covered their monthly overheads. You won't necessarily have to start with an empty diary either. Ashcombe will provide valuation opportunities, giving you the chance to win instructions and build your pipeline.
At the same time, we want entrepreneurial agents. Generate your own valuations and instructions through your contacts, prospecting, social media or local networking and you'll retain a greater share of the commission. In simple terms: We provide opportunities. You create opportunities. The more you generate, the more you can earn.
We're looking for someone who: Has previous estate agency experience Is confident carrying out valuations and winning instructions Is motivated by results and earning potential Can manage their own workload and take responsibility for their pipeline Provides a high standard of customer service Wants the freedom of self-employment while still being part of an established local agency
This isn't a salaried 9-to-5 estate agency role, and it isn't a franchise where you're paying us every month just for the opportunity to work. It's an opportunity to build your own income within Ashcombe, backed by an established local brand, systems, marketing and incoming valuation opportunities.
