Office Administrator

Whitmore Vale Housing Association (WVHA) is registered to provide care, support, and housing to individuals with learning disabilities across Surrey and works collectively to support the very best outcomes for everyone.
The Office Administrator will work with the wider Administrative Team in ensuring the central provision is effective, compliant, and that tasks are completed in accordance with desired timescales. They will bring a positive, solution focussed attitude and work well in a team to deliver a rounded service that enhances the companies’ values and behaviours.
Work Pattern - Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5pm
Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To oversee the efficient operation of the WVHA central office and bring all matters needing attention to the Chief Executive’s PA.
- To open the post on a daily basis and distribute appropriately.
- To answer the telephone, and be polite to all callers, no matter how difficult.
- To receive and assist all visitors.
- To be the first point of contact in the Secretary email inbox, escalating as necessary.
- To maintain the diary record of the Meetings Rooms – electronic and paper.
- To check that the meeting room is prepared for meetings, interviews and training sessions, providing refreshments as required.
- To check stocks of stationery, and order stationery as authorised.
- To undertake any other appropriate tasks as may be requested by Chief Executive’s PA or Senior Staff members.
