We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Engineer / Locksmith to join our team and ensure the security and functionality of our facilities through expert lock and security system management. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of locking mechanisms & security hardware.

Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical locks, electronic access controls, safes, and security hardware across multiple sites
- Conduct regular inspections of locking systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards
- Respond promptly to lockout situations or security breaches, providing effective solutions to restore access or secure premises
- Program and configure electronic access systems, including key card readers, biometric scanners, and alarm integrations
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, system updates, and security incidents for accountability
- Collaborate with security teams to develop access control protocols and improve overall facility security measures
- Stay updated on the latest locksmith technologies and security innovations to recommend enhancements or upgrades
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a locksmith or in a related engineering role involving lock systems and security hardware
- Strong knowledge of mechanical locks, electronic access control systems, safes, and security hardware components
- Ability to read technical diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and provide clear instructions or documentation
