Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
- Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, milk, cups, and utensils to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards within the establishment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.
Skills
- Proven Barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making techniques is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food and beverages.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and friendliness.
- Basic food preparation skills for assembling simple menu items or snacks.
- Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy hours.
