Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. We primarily cater for mobile events so driving is a must.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise kitchen operations.
- Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
- Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant environment.
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities.
- Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
