Join our friendly team at Allied Pharmacy in Durrington as a Pharmacy Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of our community pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll be one of the first friendly faces our customers see, offering helpful advice, dispensing support and excellent service throughout their visit.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacy team with the accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Serve customers at the counter, offering advice on over-the-counter medicines within your remit
- Receive, check and store deliveries of stock and medicines
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised pharmacy environment
- Handle prescriptions and confidential patient information with care and discretion
- Support wider pharmacy services and promote healthy living initiatives to customers
What we're looking for:
- A warm, approachable manner and genuine passion for helping people
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately
- Reliable, organised and able to work well as part of a close-knit team
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail healthcare setting is welcome, though not essential as full training will be provided
- Willingness to work towards a recognised pharmacy qualification if not already held
Please note - This is a full time role (40 hours a week) Monday - Saturday
