CNC Operator / General Carpenter

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

About the role
We're a busy workshop in Acton (W3) looking for a skilled CNC Operator and General Carpenter to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable both running CNC machinery and carrying out general carpentry and joinery work. If you take pride in producing quality work and enjoy a varied day on the tools, we'd like to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Operating and setting up CNC machinery to cut, shape and finish materials
- Reading and working from technical drawings and cutting lists
- Carrying out general carpentry and joinery tasks around the workshop
- Measuring, marking out and preparing materials accurately
- Assembling finished pieces to a high standard
- Keeping the workshop and equipment clean, safe and well maintained
What we're looking for
- Proven experience operating a CNC machine
- Solid general carpentry and joinery skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and work to precise measurements
- Good spoken and written English
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a small team
- Based in or able to commute to the W3 / Acton area
