Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our family business on our new adventure . The ideal candidate will possess a valid commercial driving licence and have experience in delivering goods safely and efficiently. This role involves operating refrigerated trailers in and around uk and Europe to transport products to designated locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies . we also have flat bed moffett work which is monday to friday if this also interests you
Duties
- Operate lorries for the transportation of goods to various locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, particularly on flatbed vehicles.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Commercial Driver or Delivery Driver is essential.
- Familiarity with operating temperature controlled (not necessary training will be provided)
- A valid commercial driving licence (C+E) is required.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in driving.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road.
- Must have valid passport
