About Hazel Card
Hazel Card is building the UK's largest platform of opportunities for children in care, care leavers and the people who support them.
We work with businesses, charities, local authorities and community organisations to make existing opportunities easier to discover and access.
Our ambition is simple: create thousands of meaningful opportunities that improve lives.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships and getting things done.
You'll be the person who turns conversations into live opportunities on the Hazel Card platform.
One day you might be speaking with a local café about a discount for care leavers. The next you could be helping a national employer create work experience opportunities or working with a charity to showcase an existing programme.
This isn't a hard sales role.
It's about helping organisations become part of something that makes a genuine difference.
What You'll Do
* Contact organisations that could offer opportunities through Hazel Card.
* Arrange and attend online and face-to-face meetings.
* Build positive relationships with businesses, charities and public sector organisations.
* Help organisations create high-quality offers for the platform.
* Write and improve offer descriptions so they are engaging and easy to understand.
* Keep in touch with partners and encourage them to develop additional offers.
* Ensure information on the platform remains accurate and up to date.
* Work closely with the Founder to grow Hazel Card across the UK.
About You
You'll probably enjoy this role if you:
* Love talking to people.
* Are highly organised.
* Can write clear, engaging content.
* Are confident using technology.
* Can manage several projects at once.
* Enjoy solving problems.
* Care about improving opportunities for young people.
Experience in partnerships, customer success, account management, business development, recruitment or community engagement would all be valuable, but attitude matters more than job titles.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first six months you'll have helped onboard new organisations, built strong relationships with partners and significantly increased the number of high-quality opportunities available through Hazel Card.
Why Join Us?
Hazel Card is still at an early stage, which means you'll have the opportunity to help shape how we grow.
If you enjoy building something meaningful from the ground up and want your work to have a direct social impact, we'd love to hear from you.
