We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in finding the right products while ensuring a welcoming and engaging shopping experience. A successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for selling, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide tailored assistance.
- Sell products by understanding customer preferences and recommending suitable items.
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain an organised sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- Handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills for cash handling and card payments.
- Communicate effectively with customers in both English and Spanish (or other languages) as needed, ensuring clarity in all interactions.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries over the phone.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed during your shift while providing outstanding service.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers effectively.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
- Proven ability to upsell products and meet sales targets is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
