Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Agency Support Workers / Health Care Assistants to provide compassionate care and support to individuals in various care settings, including care homes and support environments. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
- Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to service users
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures
- If applicable, utilise driving skills to transport clients safely to appointments or activities
- Contribute to creating a positive environment that promotes independence and dignity for all clients
Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving client transportation
- Good command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
