Goldilocks Nursery in Ashford is looking for an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of early years care and education.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and inspire the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education and care.
- Ensure the nursery operates in full compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and all relevant legislation and safeguarding requirements.
- Oversee the day-to-day management and organisation of the nursery.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and child development.
- Monitor and support staff performance, development, and training.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community.
- Manage nursery occupancy, admissions, and staff rotas.
- Ensure effective safeguarding procedures are implemented and followed at all times.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Prepare for and maintain positive outcomes for Ofsted inspections.
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role within an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Passionate about providing outstanding care and learning opportunities for children.
- Ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
