Job Summary
The Bradbury Centre in Southbourne provides day opportunities Monday-Friday for adults with learning disabilities to participate in programme that offers a wide range of creative and lifeskills activities that improve their confidence, develop their independent living skills, enable them to build friendships, and to participate within the local community.
We are looking for a new Saturday retail assistant to run our small shop. Our shop is open Monday-Friday and we support our clients to work in the shop as part of their day service activity but the Saturday opening is an additional means to raise money through the business element of the shop to support its ongoing sustainability, and is not part of our day service provision.
We're looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoy engaging with the public, has an interest in selling unique handcrafted items and is happy to chat to our customers about our purpose.
