Mahogany Strides is a small, therapeutic children's home in Kidderminster providing a safe, nurturing and family-style environment for young people with emotional, behavioural and psychological needs.
We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Bank Residential Support Workers to join our team and provide flexible cover across day and night shifts.

About the Role
As a Bank Residential Support Worker, you will support young people with their day-to-day needs and help create a safe, warm and positive home environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building trusting and positive relationships with young people.
- Supporting young people with daily routines, education, health and independence skills.
- Encouraging participation in activities, hobbies and community experiences.
- Providing emotional support and helping young people manage difficult feelings and behaviours.
- Supporting young people to attend appointments, education and activities.
- Completing clear and accurate daily records.
- Following individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
- Maintaining professional boundaries while being a positive and consistent role model.
- Supporting with household tasks to maintain a comfortable and homely environment.
- Working flexibly across day and night shifts when required.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Be willing to work flexibly, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
- Be able to complete an enhanced DBS check and all required safer recruitment checks.
- Be committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
A full UK driving licence is desirable
