An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Executive Assistant to join a niche and successful sports agency and international law firm based at locations in the heart of London’s busy Marylebone and the City of London.
It is a rare opportunity for the right candidate to gain both legal and sports agency skills whilst assisting on a wide range of legal matters including corporate law: investor fundraising, major company acquisitions/sales/takeovers, general commercial contracts, Sports law on behalf of footballers, International High Court litigation for foreign and UK clients and Intellectual Property and Employment law.

This role will suit a motivated and capable individual who is highly organised and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and professional individual, with strong office administration skills and ideally with qualifications or knowledge of English Common Law. Knowledge and/or interest in sports and football would be advantageous though not necessary.
Duties to include but are not limited to:
· Diary management for legal and sports companies;
· Scheduling in person and virtual meetings;
· Bookkeeping: Preparing bill and payment orders, credit notes, invoices. Preparing monthly and annual billing reports and financial sheets, filing annual returns. Keeping spreadsheets with bank transactions, company, income, expenses, commission, office costs, monthly comparison charts etc
· Learning, under supervision to prepare first drafts of varied agreements and legal documentation such as immigration applications to the Home Office or Intellectual Property registrations;
· Office administration: filing physical and virtual files, refilling stationery supplies, producing meeting minutes etc
· Liaising with high-profile sporting and corporate clients in a courteous and professional manner;
· Liaising with different authorities in a professional manner;
· Updating legal timesheets, issuing invoices, chasing payments;
· Preparing IP applications and following through to completion in UK & EU;
· Preparing and filing legal documents with the High Court of London;
· Dealing with various UK immigration matters (pre-settled and settled status and citizenship applications) including for PEPs.
Person specification:
· Ideally have at least 4 years work experience working in a busy office environment as an Office Administrator or Executive Assistant;
· LLB, GDL and/or LPC qualifications or equivalent from abroad would be advantageous;
· Has a ‘no job too small’ attitude;
· Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in English and ideally French, Spanish, German or another language.
· Has proven organisational and diary management skills including all logistics such as travel, accommodation, visa requirements etc;
· Native/Fluent English. Knowledge of French or Spanish would be beneficial but not mandatory;
· Experience in legal document drafting is desirable;
· Experience in UK/EU trade mark applications would be advantageous;
· Resilience and ability to work up to tight deadlines;
· Ability to prioritise tasks and to be a self-starter;
· Has excellent attention to detail;
· Has intermediate to advanced IT knowledge;
· Has intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint skills.
