Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, pouring beers, taking orders, and providing excellent customer care in a lively tap room environment. Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred (pub/bar), but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines.
- Take food and drink orders accurately from guests, ensuring prompt service.
- Provide friendly, attentive service to all customers, addressing any special requests or dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Uphold food safety standards and health regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are important.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous.
- Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately.
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism and friendliness.
