Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable individual to join our team as Bar Staff/Bingo Caller. This role combines excellent guest service with the excitement of hosting bingo games, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. This paid position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills while contributing to a vibrant community setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and refreshments efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of guest service
- Host bingo sessions, calling numbers clearly and accurately to ensure fair game play. On a Saturday & Sunday introducing the artist on stage and then thanking them at the end of each set
- Maintain a welcoming environment by engaging with guests and addressing any queries or concerns
- Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices at all times
- Being flexible and available to cover extra hours when needed for Functions
Qualifications
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Experience in hospitality or entertainment environments is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
