G Crook & Sons Tyreworld is seeking an experienced and motivated Tyre Fitter to join our growing team.
As well as supporting our own fleet of vehicles, we provide tyre fitting, repairs and roadside assistance for a diverse customer base including commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, HGVs, high-performance cars, 4x4s, motorcycles and light commercial vehicles.
Operating from our fully equipped workshop and bespoke mobile fitting vans, we deliver a professional service both on-site and at customer locations throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Repair and replace tyres on a wide range of vehicles including:
- Cars and vans
- Agricultural machinery
- Commercial vehicles and HGVs
- Motorcycles
- Carry out mobile tyre fitting and roadside repairs.
- Participate in an out-of-hours breakdown rota.
- Safely operate tyre fitting, balancing and repair equipment.
- Complete customer paperwork and job documentation accurately.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and workshop standards.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times where required.
- Communicate effectively with the Depot Manager and wider team.
- Deliver excellent customer service both in the workshop and on-site.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience fitting and repairing a wide range of tyres.
- Experience with commercial and agricultural tyres would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
- Strong organisational and paperwork skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
Working Hours
- Basic hours: 42 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Alternate Saturday mornings
- Participation in an out-of-hours breakdown rota
