Bright Blue Day is looking for a Group Account Director to lead one of the agency's largest, longest-standing and most strategically important client relationships.
Our flagship fintech client has partnered with us for over 15 years and operates across multiple European markets. This role carries responsibility for one of the agency's largest revenue-generating accounts and forms a key part of the Client Services leadership structure.
You'll be responsible for the overall health, growth, commercial performance and delivery of the account, whilst leading a team and building senior client relationships across Europe.
What we're looking for

Proven experience as an Account Director or Group Account Director

Experience leading large digital programmes and complex client relationships

Experience managing and developing teams (essential)

Strong commercial awareness and account growth experience

Confident working with senior and international stakeholders

Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
-
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of work

B2B marketing experience preferred

Fintech or financial services experience advantageous
What you'll be doing

Acting as the senior agency lead across the account

Building and developing relationships with senior client stakeholders across Europe

Owning account performance, growth, forecasting and profitability

Leading strategic responses to briefs and identifying new opportunities

Overseeing delivery across multiple workstreams, platforms and markets

Driving operational excellence and continuous improvement

Content Editors supporting the account

Acting as the primary escalation point for both client and agency teams

Reporting account performance, opportunities and risks to the agency leadership team
The Account

Supporting major sponsorship programmes including FIFA World Cup and Olympic Games partnerships

Other Details

Full-time, office-based role in Bournemouth

Weekly or fortnightly travel to London, plus occasional European travel

Salary from £65,000+ depending on experience
