The Role: Executive Security Officer - Kingscross
As an Executive Security Officer, you will be responsible for securing and safeguarding our client’s employees, property and assets at a specific site. You will be a subject matter expert in all site-specific policies and procedures and implementing emergency response activities.
In this role, you will observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to defined management, life/safety personnel or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required. You will exercise calmness of action during highly stressful situations and communicate and interact in a positive and professional manner.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity and safety of assigned executive spaces.
- Monitor chats, emails, radio and telephone calls and conduct routine monitoring and surveillance of the camera system.
- Control access to designated spaces and provide escorts in the assigned space for approved personnel.
- Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents or conditions following.
- Patrol facilities/campuses on foot and check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, and or unauthorized persons on the grounds.
- Document incidents and reporting as directed.
Qualifications / Requirements:
10 years of experience in security, police or military this can include executive protection.
- Possess and maintain valid SIA Static Guard Licence during employment with CK
- First Aid / Defib trained
- Experience in writing reports.
- Be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behaviour.
Preferred qualities:
Display exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible/non-standard corporate schedules
- Ability to multi-task in a fast pace ambiguous environment
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft office, wireless technology, CCTV networks, and fire/Intruder alarm systems.
- Effective written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
Pay and benefit information:
- Job type: Full Time – Shift Pattern 07:00 – 19:00 and 08:00 – 20:00 across 7 days.
- Location: Kingscross
- Pay: £22 an hour
Pay: £22.00 per hour
