Overview
SurreyScape are looking for an experienced garden maintenance operative to join our team. This is a hands-on position requiring regular physical exertion and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
We are a small gardening business that has been operating since 2016. We are looking for an experienced garden maintenance operative/gardener to assist with the maintenance of mainly commercial gardens in the Surrey area. We work to a fortnightly schedule so there is familiarity with the role.
The candidate must have experience in all aspects of garden maintenance and must be able to ensure that all gardens are maintained to a high standard. Candidates must be experienced, reliable, trustworthy, have good time keeping skills, be able to work on their own initiative and apply common sense to their work.
Duties include:
- Grass cutting
- Border maintenance
- Leaf clearance
- Hedge trimming
- Pruning
- Pressure Washing
- General aspects of garden maintenance
This role is based on a PAYE contract and is not a self employed role. You will be working up to 40 hours per week Monday - Friday. Pay is dependent on experience/skills and can be negotiated for the right candidate.
You will have 28 days annual leave per annum (inc. Bank Holidays). Own tools are not necessary, and a full UK manual driving licence is essential for this role.
