Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SIA Security Trainer/Instructor to deliver comprehensive training programmes for security personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging training content, delivering instruction, and assessing trainee progress to ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements. Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging training modules using platforms such as Microsoft Powerpoint
- Deliver classroom-based training sessions on SIA licensing requirements, security procedures, and customer service skills.
- Assess trainee performance through practical exercises, written assessments, and observations, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Maintain accurate records of training attendance, progress, and certification status
- Stay updated with industry regulations and ensure training content remains compliant with current legislation and best practices.
- Mentor trainees throughout their learning journey, fostering a supportive environment that encourages professional growth.
- Collaborate with human resources teams to identify training needs and develop customised programmes aligned with organisational goals.
- Utilise presentation skills to effectively communicate complex information in an understandable manner to diverse audiences.
- Conduct refresher courses and specialised training sessions as required, ensuring ongoing competence of security personnel.
Skills
- Proficiency interactive e-learning content.
- Strong teaching abilities with experience in delivering engaging educational sessions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly and confidently.
- Experience using powerpoint for content management and collaboration purposes.
- Mentoring skills to guide trainees through their learning process effectively.

Requirements:
- The Level 3 Award in Education and Training(QCF)
- NQF/QCF Level 3 in the delivery of Conflict Management training
- The Level 3 Award for delivery of Physical Intervention Training in the Private Security Industry (QCF)
- First Aid at Work qualification required

8/9 hr day shift
Weekdays and Weekends (depending on the courses as Door supervisor training might require running classes for 6-7 days continuously)
