Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Fast Food Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering orders promptly and safely to customers, ensuring excellent service and maintaining a positive company image. This role requires a valid driver’s licence with own vehicle or own E-Bike, good communication skills, and the ability to navigate efficiently within the local area. The position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, cars/Bike/E-Bike adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Pick up orders from the restaurant or food outlet and deliver them directly to customers’ specified locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times or any issues that may arise during transit.
- Handle cash or electronic payments when required, ensuring proper documentation of transactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for the vehicle being operated; a <PERSON> driver qualification is advantageous.
- Experience with commercial driving or warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, such as carrying food orders or boxes.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to plan efficient routes.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
