Location: Rugby but must be able to travel throughout the UK & overseas

Salary: £41,000-£50,000 per annum - depending on experience + uncapped overtime

The Role…
We are now seeking to recruit an experienced Electro-Mechanical Fitter with rotating machines experience to work at our Rugby site.
The primary responsibilities in this role include:
- Ability to inspect and diassemble rotating machines
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and schematic drawings
- Ability to produce job reports and inspection check sheets
- Undertake works to a high standard on a first-time fix basis where possible
- Submission of daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time
- Ensure excellent levels of customer care
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be methodical and accurate and make notes and reports during the dissassembly process
- Carry out basic electrical testing to establish machine condition
- Accurately assess and observe damage and wear on AC/DC electric motors and other machines
Qualifications & Experience
Requirements for this position include:
- A qualification in Mechanical Engineering either C&G or NVQ equivalent
- Previous experience within a Electro-Mechanical environment
- Knowledge of medium and large rotating machines (High Voltage) AC & DC motors and generators
- The ability to travel for short durations as and when required for specific site work, both iin the UK and Overseas
- Experience using industry equipment correctly and safely during the repair process
- The ability to prepare all parts and assemble to the required standards and ready for test run
- The ability to assemble machine QA standards in a timely manner
- A good attitude to personal safety and site safety in-house and on customer sites Full driving licence would be an advantage
