We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Festival Bar Staff to join our vibrant team at upcoming events. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment, providing excellent service to festival attendees. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering a friendly and efficient bar service, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Previous bar experience is a must as this is a very fast paced bar. All positions are paid, and this role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in dynamic settings and possess strong people skills.
Duties
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to festival attendees in a courteous and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout the event
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Assist with setting up and packing down the bar area before and after events
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including responsible alcohol service
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to bar service is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment
- A professional attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
Pay: £12.70 per hour
