We design and build bespoke working-at-height platforms from scratch — no two jobs the same, no production-line monotony. If you take pride in clean aluminium TIG work and want to see something you've fabricated leave the workshop as a finished, engineered product, this is the bench for you.
You'd be working from raw stock — aluminium extrusions, castings and flat bar — turning engineering drawings into high-quality access platforms.
What you'll be doing
- TIG welding and fabricating aluminium access platforms to drawing
- Reading engineering drawings and specs, and flagging anything that doesn't look right
- Cutting, shaping and assembling using hand and power tools
- Checking your own work to spec before it moves on
- Working with the wider team to hit production schedules
What we're looking for
- Hands-on aluminium TIG welding and fabrication experience — we're more interested in the quality of your work than years on paper
- Confident reading engineering drawings and specifications
- Genuine attention to detail and pride in the finished job
- A reliable, self-sufficient worker who's also a good teammate
This isn't a coded welding role — we're after a skilled all-round aluminium fabricator whose work speaks for itself.
What we offer
- £14.50–£15.50/hour base, depending on experience
- Overtime on top at time-and-a-half, available once you're up to speed
- Annual shareholder bonus based on team performance — when the team does well, you share in it
- Pension scheme
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising with length of service
To apply, send your CV to [email protected]. No cover letter needed — if you've got relevant aluminium TIG experience and want a chat, get in touch to arrange an interview / weld test.
