Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance man to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of machinery and equipment across our facilities. This role requires a good problem-solving skills. The Maintenance technician will play a vital part in maintaining safety standards, reducing downtime, and supporting operational efficiency through effective maintenance practices.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance and minor repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them
- Maintaining a record of performed maintenance tasks
- Keeping tools and supplies organised and tidy
- Following safety precautions and adhering to the schedule
- Repairing machines, equipment or structures where necessary, not requiring more specialized attention
- Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
- Maintaining internal and external decor, for example: painting, installing shelving, pressure washing walkways
- General gardening
- Performing weekly fire alarm test and regular fire drill
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of upgrades or new installations of equipment.
Pay: £1,638.40-£1,750.00 per month
