We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Chargehand to oversee our Joiners and Painters to join our growing restoration team
As Chargehand you will assist our Technical Manager and oversee our restoration team on various projects ensuring high standard of and effective cost control at all times.
Key Responsibilities
As Chargehand you will:
Oversee a of restoration project and reviewing delivery timescales with our Technical Manager in line with client and Head Office requirements .
Responsibility for ensuring workmanship quality adheres to our Standard Operating Procedures
Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company Procedures/Policies relating to Health and Safety, inclusive of COSHH
Assisting with Technical Surveys at potential clients properties
Our ideal candidate:
Practical operational experience in Joinery
Experience in leading, developing and motivating staff
Good at planning, organising, being able to solve problems, make clear decisions and have a customer focus
Good level of numeracy/literacy
UK Driving License is essential
SMSTS or SSSTS would be an advantage
