Job Overview
Clay & Co. Facilities Group is looking for a professional, reliable and self-motivated Area Cleaning Supervisor to support operational service delivery across our education and commercial client sites throughout Wiltshire and Somerset.
This is a permanent role based on 40 working weeks per year.
The role is primarily term-time working and includes planned work during the school holidays to support deep cleaning projects, specialist cleaning and operational activities.
As an Area Cleaning Supervisor, you will support colleagues across multiple client sites, carry out quality inspections, maintain high cleaning standards and act as a key point of contact for both clients and the Clay & Co. Facilities Group management team.
This is a hands-on supervisory role offering genuine responsibility and variety. You'll work closely with colleagues, support clients and help ensure our services are delivered safely, professionally and to the high standards our clients expect.
As this is a client and colleague-facing role, we're looking for someone who is approachable, organised and professional at all times. The successful candidate will represent Clay & Co. Facilities Group across our client sites, the majority of which are schools, where professionalism, safeguarding and excellent communication are essential.
The majority of travel will be within Wiltshire and Somerset. However, occasional journeys of up to approximately one hour may be required to support new client mobilisations, operational requirements or colleague support across our operating area.
This role would also suit an experienced cleaner who is ready to take the next step in their career. If you have the right attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, we'll provide the training and ongoing support you need to succeed.

- Carry out quality inspections and service audits.
- Monitor cleaning standards and implement improvements where required.
- Support colleague inductions, training and ongoing development.

- Report operational, staffing and client matters to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safeguarding requirements and health and safety procedures.
