FLT Counterbalance Driver Wrexham
Location: Oak Rd, Wrexham LL13 9RG
About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Permanent FLT Counterbalance Driver at our Wrexham Site. Your main duties include safely operating the FLT equipment to supply production machines with materials, remove finished pallets, and maintain efficient workflow across the site. It is a mandatory you hold a certified and in date Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck Licence. The role also includes carrying out quality checks on pallets to ensure products meet company standards, report defects or issues to supervision, and maintaining good housekeeping and health & safety standards within the work area.
Key Responsibilities:
· In date Counterbalance FLT certificate with at least 3 years’ experience
· Good communication skills
· The successful candidate must have the ability to reasonably communicate in English as well as comprehend written instructions.
· The ability to work as part of a team or work on your own initiative as and when required.
· Maintain good housekeeping and health & safety standards.
· Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, although full training will be given.
Health and safety forms a large part of our culture at James Jones none more so than this role. Whilst driving around site you must maintain a safe travel speed, be at all times aware of pedestrian activates. Taking care at all times in your actions. The wearing and use of personal protective equipment issued to you must be work in designated areas at all times.
Hours of Work:
Rotating Shift Pattern – Monday to Friday – 05:50-14:00 week 1, 13:50-22:00 week 2
You must have means of transport that will allow you to arrive on site before your shift commences (minimum 10 minutes before your shift starts)
Salary: From £13.05 per hour (with attendance bonus).
Expected hours: 38.20 per week
