Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional roof structures, 1st and 2nd fix and ideally self employed, paid monthly through cis. Ongoing work for the right candidate. Mainly site work so CSCS is a must but also some residential work between sites.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications and design plans.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete joinery tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly and installation of materials.
- Ensure all work is plumb, level, and meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including carpenters and masons, to ensure project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Skills
- Proven experience in joinery with a strong understanding of fabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools relevant to the joinery trade.
- Ability to perform masonry tasks as required for specific projects.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members on-site.
