We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Develop and implement innovative menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
- Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their culinary skills and team performance
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
- Serve as a role model for professionalism and hospitality within the team
Requirements
- Proven experience in a culinary or restaurant setting with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Supervising experience within busy kitchens or hospitality environments
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
- Knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques
- Experience in menu development and innovation
- Familiarity with health regulations and safety procedures in a kitchen setting
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
