Job Title: Injection Mould Supervisor (Night Shift)
Shift: 17:45 to 06:00
Location: Yaxley, Cambridgeshire
Hourly Rate: £19.24 per hour (plus £50 weekly attendance bonus)
We are looking for an experienced Injection Mould Supervisor to lead our night shift operations within the Plastics department. This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for someone with strong injection moulding knowledge who is experienced in overseeing production, supporting operators, monitoring performance, and ensuring the shift runs safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
As the Injection Mould Supervisor, you will:
· Supervise the night shift production team, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safe working practices are maintained.
· Monitor production and escalate any machine, tooling, or process issues to the appropriate technical support to minimise downtime and maintain output.
· Support, train, and guide operators with machine settings, production processes, and quality expectations.
· Carry out routine checks and ensure production paperwork, quality checks, and handovers are completed accurately.
· Promote a clean, organised, and safety-focused working environment in line with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
· Supervisory experience within an injection moulding factory setting.
· Excellent technical understanding of injection moulding processes, and production requirements.
· Confident problem-solving skills with the ability to make clear decisions, prioritise work, and escalate issues appropriately.
· A proactive approach to improving processes, reducing downtime, and supporting production efficiency.
· Good awareness of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
